Through its activities, the project implements the presentation of Soča trout, the work of fishermen and fish farmers, and local fish products, thereby addressing the development need to increase the competitiveness of the business environment through new business opportunities and self-sufficiency in fish products through short supply chains. Fish products from locally farmed fish have higher added value and great market potential. Through the festival, a new channel is created for the promotion of the area and fish products to the final customer.
