The purpose of the mussel education is to inform and raise public awareness about locally organically grown mussels, throughout history - tradition and development, which is economically - sustainable, sea - nature friendly way of growing that preserves biodiversity. No impact - burden on the environment, but an important natural and healthy food source for humans, which is affordable to all segments of society, currently a little-known food. The objectives of the operation are to acquire knowledge, raise awareness, strengthen the competitiveness of the economy in connection with rural and sustainable fisheries - mariculture using locally grown ingredients, with an emphasis on organic agriculture on the model of KM 0 - networking. We will encourage the connection of local producers in the area of the Istrian LAG for a quality living environment and an interesting destination for tourists with greater opportunities for employment in tourism and beyond.
