The FISHERIES CENTER project is intended primarily for stakeholders in the fisheries sector, which should enable faster development and introduction of new technologies, approaches and solutions in the entire process from sea to user, primarily related to shorter supply chain and diversification of activities. The operation would provide fishermen with a shorter supply chain, storage of catches to achieve a better catch price on the market, and support for the marketing and distribution of products. Combining the potential of small-scale coastal fishing in the area of the FLAG Istra through the implementation of activities proposed within the operation, would provide fishermen with an increase in the added value of catches, offer additional products and maintain or acquire new jobs.
