The aim of the operation is to improve competitiveness through the introduction of new technologies and innovative solutions in the field of fisheries and promoting tourism through fisheries and aquaculture. The organization of events and workshops aims to improve entrepreneurial knowledge and skills and increase the use of local products through better promotion and marketing of local fish and fish products. With additional promotion and by attracting visitors to organized events, workshops, guided tours of the hatchery and fish farm, an increase in the use of local fish products is also expected. By carrying out the investment maintenance of the Kobarid farm complex, the tourist infrastructure is being upgraded, which can consequently contribute to an increase in the average length of stay of tourists in the municipality Kobarid and the area of FLAG Dolina Soče. With the workshops and the organization of events that promote fishing activities and aquaculture, the local identity of the inhabitants of the FLAG Dolina Soče will be strengthened.
