Within the framework of the previous PROMUHAR project, a great willingness and interest among young people in fly fishing and environmental conservation was detected. Due to the excellent response of children and teachers to the fly-fishing workshops that have already been held, the project applicant has decided to carry out an upgrade of the workshops in local schools and kindergartens, which will try to get children and young people interested in fly-fishing and thereby indirectly influence the preservation of local traditions and strengthen local identity connected to the Soča river and the Soča trout. Unfortunately, many young people have limited access to information and limited financial capabilities, as fly fishing is a sport that is more difficult to access financially. Therefore, as part of the continuation of the operation entitled "Encouraging fly-fishing among young people", guided fishing will be carried out by an experienced fishing guide for potential young anglers. On guided fishing trips, young people will be provided with all the necessary equipment, so that they can get to know fly fishing in its entirety.
