The purpose of the project is to achieve strengthening of competitiveness in the area of FLAG Istra through education, preservation of old knowledge and behavior, development of innovative tourist experiences. The purpose of the project is to strengthen knowledge and connect fishermen who want to diversify their fishing activities also in the field of tourism and providers of accommodation and other tourist services in the entire destination of Istra. We will go beyond the current offer, which is based on a single offer - overnight stay, tasting and tour. The tourist offer in connection with heritage and gastronomy represents unused opportunities for the development of (blue-green) entrepreneurship and employment. This is a new direction of adventure tourism. The Blue-Green Istra project will bring innovative approaches and products in the field of sustainable and responsible tourism to the destination of Slovenian Istra.
