The purpose of the implementation of the sub-measure "Preparatory support" was to strengthen the formation of local partnerships, strengthen institutional capacity, training, and networking for the preparation and implementation of local development strategies (hereinafter: LDS), run by the community for a "bottom up approach". Supported the training of the local population, the study identified areas of activities related to the preparation LDS, including the activities of advice and activities relating to consultation with stakeholders. Support was also given for the administrative costs incurred during the preparation of the LDS. Beneficiaries of preparatory support were local partnerships which have developed LDS.
