The operation stems from the desire and need for a quality upgrade of tourist facilities related to activities on and along the Sava River in the Posavje region. In the municipality of Radeče, the Sava River is an indisputable cornerstone of the development of the tourism industry, as the key tourist products (rafting and fishing) take place on it, and in addition to positive multiplier effects for the economy in the region, the development of many smaller tourism providers. The operation will take place in two phases: in the first, which is predominantly local in nature, we focus on strengthening the example of good practice by establishing a fishing village and upgrading the Radeška fishing area and creating a "traditional Sava boat" experience. With the help of the results of the first phase, we focus on the first major steps (guidelines, studies, regional conference, sales catalog with new market products) in the field of regional integration on river and fishing tourism.
