The goal of the operation is to identify and map potential areas where, according to all factors, this possible and acceptable activity of mariculture could be increased, developed and possibly extended to the cultivation of other species of marine organisms. Mariculture methods with regard to intensity, multi-tasking and closed systems should also be taken into account. The purpose is to examine the possibility of developing or increasing mariculture on the coast and in the Slovenian sea.
