Legal basis: Article 32 of Regulation (EU) No 508/2014
Measure summary: In order to improve hygiene, health, safety and working conditions for fishermen, the EMFF may support investments on board or in individual equipment provided that those investments go beyond the requirements under Union or national law.
Beneficiaries: Fishermen or owners of fishing vessels.
Intensity of public aid: The public aid intensity is 50 percent of the eligible expenditure of the operation. Operations in relation to small-scale fishing may be eligible for an increase of 30 percent.
